Central Christchurch
This large old character house is on a busy road and has a huge barbed wire topped fence around it so unfortunately I couldn't explore around or inside it. The most exciting thing about this house was the overflowing apple tree on it's section-which I could only drool longingly at through the fence.

Manawatu, near Palmerson North.
These neighbouring abandoned farm houses are on the main highway, each sits in the middle of it's own field, They're really derelict and have no windows, some floors missing and no possessions left inside except piles of rubble, old stoves etc.
I managed to lose my phone while leaping over a gate to get to them, I don't think the photos were worth that...but some good ones all the same. There were many outbuildings in various states of decay, abandoned farm equipment, holding pens, water tanks etc out the back...if I'd had longer to explore I could have spent hours wandering around in the very picturesque meadows surrounding the houses.
